Swedehockey/ Q Elite has a strong foothold in the Gothenburg region, and our main focus is development of young hockey players both in Sweden and Norway and to guide them on their way to elite level.
We are very focused on a close dialogue between the coaches and the players. Fair play, humility and respect have a central place in our programs.​ Some of the best players in their age group have trained with our development groups and six of our players in the defense program har been called for the national U16 teams
Our pathway to excellence
Joining a group in a young age give you the opportunity to proceed to next level on our pathway.
Our Story
The first development group was a group of 2011 born players started in October 2024 and most of these players are still in the program. Soon after the start-up of the 2011 group, the special program for Defensemen was established. This is also a very popular program that give D-men a special training they very seldom get in their day to day training.
In the spring of 2025 the 2012 and 2013 groups were established and have monthly training clinics throughout the year. However, the main season for our teams is outside the main season not to make any conflict with their home-clubs
